"Everything is connected. I realized that things never happen as expected, but that is wonderful. Life is a journey, a river that goes its way unceasingly, persevering, never giving up in constant change.
I see life as the journey of a drop of water. It begins, perhaps with the melting of a glacier, where it has it was immobile for a long time. The drop of water always finds its way, even when rocks seem to block the way. Often these changes of direction create beautiful shapes ... We can see that the river itself is art - Let us be art ourselves ..."
(from the text "The journey of a water drop").
We started this project with one of the most important issues of our time: climate change. Among all the challenges such as resource scarcity, water privatization, melting glaciers and floods, we focus our attention specifically on the resource "water", because water is essential for the survival of humans and animals, as well as our entire ecosystem.
Water is life and life is in a constant state of flux ...
A poetic yet profound contemporary dance/air dance piece about the story about the journey of a drop of water. The water cycle serves as a metaphor for the cycle of life.
With this piece we would like to make our audience think and rethink and draw attention to the beauty and preciousness of nature and especially water.
